Project overview
The Olympics Athletes Village delivered the legacy of 2,800 new homes for East London across 11 residential plots. Construction work began in summer 2008 with the first residential plot completed in October 2009.
Our solution
A further two residential plots, comprising nearly 600 new homes were also structurally completed.
The Athletes Village was one of the most significant new urban developments at the time of build in the UK and was part of a much wider regeneration project – the Stratford City Masterplan – the blueprint for a huge new piece of City in East London.
Our Civil and Structural Engineering team supported our client by designing and detailing precast external concrete panels for various buildings within the Athletes Village
