Working on behalf of LX Engineering for Henry Boot Construction, Waldeck were responsible for the full Mechanical and Electrical Building Services Design and additional technical support for the migration of the Everthorpe Control Room to the adjacent Wolds Control Room at HMP Humber.
Our solution
Our Mechanical and Electrical Building Services Design team were responsible for the the migration of the Everthorpe Control Room to the adjacent Wolds Control Room, which formed part of the new HMP Humber establishment.
In addition to this, new perimeter CCTV and external lighting were also installed, as well as cross-site services infrastructure and cabling.
As part of the project a new staff change facility was designed and built, an extension was added to the open visits centre and both the closed visits centre and Category D Wing were fully refurbished.
Across the refurbishment, extensive detailed surveys were undertaken to fully document the locations and details of the electrical content such as control panels.
