Vocalink’s aspirations were to upgrade their existing Data Centre to meet the strict requirements of the Uptime Institutes Tier III standard and be compliant.
Our solution
As Uptime Institute Accredited Tier III designers, Waldeck were appointed to review the existing electrical infrastructure and advise on the requirements to achieve compliance. The review highlighted that additional generator capacity was required as well as secondary bypass switchgear.
Following our report we were appointed to carry out the electrical infrastructure design, enabling our client to tender the works.
