Working on behalf of Imtech for Galliford Try, Waldeck were responsible for the full Mechanical and Electrical Building Services Design and additional technical support for the upgrade of accommodation wings within HMYOI Deerbolt to improve fire security and procedures.
Our solution
Our team were responsible for the replacement of the existing smoke ventilation, fire hose reels with new HP misting units and emergency lighting throughout all accommodation wings.
Works included the provision of new in-cell radio operated fire detection and aspiration systems to the Segregation Block. The works also included the associated LV distribution and an alarm installation to collect fault signals from the new mechanical plant.
