Project overview
Tulip Ltd, one of Europe’s largest manufacturers and processors of quality meat products at the time, required a £1.3 million refurbishment of one of their factory’s in the East Midlands.
Our Solution
Our Civil and Structural Engineering team were involved in the refurbishment of the existing plant at the factory, including the construction of two new production lines and installing a new high-care changing facility for employees who work in high-risk food contamination areas within the factory.
The Results
Any project within a live factory environment requires extremely close levels of co-ordination and flexibility for all of the project delivery team.
Our team co-ordinated all the design disciplines to produce a phased design solution that enabled the builders to undertake their work within the minimum disruption to operations and production and enabled phased early possession of certain areas.
