Work is being carried out in both the DPP and DEP buildings, which will be carried out during planned shutdown periods with a number of FMC approved contractors and vendors.
Waldeck provided CDMC assistance to the FMC Safety Team and this changed to Principal Designer (PD) and CDM assistance when the CDM Regulations changed in 2015. Our duties include; competency checking for all contractors and vendors on the project against Ford’s D2A90E Supplier Questionnaire, carrying out site safety audits on all contractors and vendors and verifying information given in the D2A90E and providing the Ford Safety team with feedback and observations after the site audits. Waldeck are also producing and maintaining the Project Health and Safety File for the Ford Safety Team.
Providing Principal Designer assistance allowed Ford to have an independent assessment of the Health and Safety culture on site and what contractors and vendors were performing against their own procedures.
