Project overview
The Manor Kingsway Retirement scheme includes the development of 49 retirement apartments in Derby.
The scheme was developed with Kier Living as part of a larger Homes England residential scheme and is being delivered under a bespoke design and build development agreement.
The scheme will offer independent living within a community setting for people over the age of 55, with 24 1-bed and 2-bedapartments for shared ownership and 25 one and two bedroom apartments for rent.
Our solution
Our Commercial and Risk Mangement team are providing Employers Agent and Quality Monitoring Services over an 18-month build period.
Waldeck have supported Kier Living with the development of the scheme and initiated Housing & Care 21’s interest in the development, supporting all parties with pre-contract Employer’s Agent services.
The results
The scheme is due for handover in March 2020 and is Housing & Care 21’s first retirement scheme in East Midlands.
