Waldeck Consulting, have stepped in to sponsor the kit of local under 15’s football team, Keelby United.
At their home ground, close to Waldeck’s Grimsby office, the team kicked off the season with a match win, sporting the new Waldeck branded kit.
Sue Wright, Managing Director and Chair of Waldeck’s Employee Engagement Committee, said: “Through our Employee Engagement Committee, we do a wide range of fundraising for charities, locally and nationally, the decision to sponsor the club is a great way of also doing more for the local community.”
“As a company, we have a commitment to corporate social responsibility, so when Steve Galley, our Head of Health and Safety, asked us to support his sons team, we were more than happy to provide a donation for the team’s kit.”
Steve Holness, Coach for the football team, said: “The team and I are truly grateful for the sponsorship from Waldeck Consulting, we are delighted with the new kit and the team even got a 5-1 win on the first game of the season.”
